Barely works and eats batteries like breakfast cereal
When it feels like playing, it plays. But it will often skip whole songs, fail to start the CD with “No Disc” errors and best of all, it eats batteries.

The product description was deceiving b/c it states that it is a MP3/CD player w/120 second Anti-Skip Protection. The 120 Anti-skip protection is only for the MP3 player.
I bought this CD player about a week ago and the anti-skip is terrible on it. It skips when you walk with it, the sound quality is poor, and it lags when you try to skip tracks. The COBY company obviously does not know how to make a quality portable CD player and I am not very happy with my purchase. Stick with SONY or PANASONIC much better quality

Well…I took a chance and got something based on the low price. I knew that it was kinda risky not to follow my instincts. After only a few uses, it broke. Oh well…I just took it as a lesson and moved onto Sony.

this is a rip off .i got it and tryed to play it an it will not play its said on disc and then it shuts off.i have try all cds and mp3 it will not read any.

Not bad for the money
I only used this a few weeks until I purchased another cheap MP3 player. It does eat batteries pretty quick but it gets the job done.

Decent Price, not so decent quality
I purchased this for my son along with a cassette adapter, for his vehicle. Within 2 weeks the top to this player will not stay shut, so much for the anti-skip feature, the top…

I got two of these for my kids they work great they are easy for a 7 year old and even thethree year old can change the cd and find his selection on a cd.

This is a terrible product. When you turn off the CD, you must disconnect the batteries or they run out.
