COBY review
This unit seems to have a problem playing a complete CD. It usually starts cutting out after approximately playing 75% of the CD. This occurred on 5 different CDs.

Good quality for the price
I had some old tapes and wanted to play them and this provided the correct vehicle for that. Good quality for the price.
This little boombox is quite cheaply manufactured.
The casette deck was very difficult to close from the beginning. One has to adjust the tape just right to be able to close the player. After using it about five times it started shredding my tapes. I am trying to get my money back now because the product is not very trustworthy.

CD player is a bust
As others have noted in other reviews, within one month of purchasing this product, the CD player no longer worked. It just continuously said “read”.

boom box expo
This unit is very good for cds and tapes. The radio/tuner is not very good. It picks up one staion for almost the enitre width of the band.

Work as advertised
We have some MP3 CDs that will not play in some players. A piece of cake with this one. Good sound, size and weight. It is also portable. My wife really likes it.

Good product
I had checked at Wal-mart & Big lots for a radio that would utalize a tape plus a disc. The prices were quite a bit higher than Amazon.
